Recently I attended the Force Science Institute Conference held in Chicago. I attended the conference to continue my commitment to improve my understanding of how human performance factors impact decisions made during police use of force encounters.
Over three days, various internationally recognized subject matter experts presented on topics including the impact of stress, effects on visual and auditory senses, time perception, memory, as well as decision making and the significance in potentially impacting the outcome in police use of force encounters.
I am appreciative to Dr Lewinski and his exceptional colleagues for my continued professional relationship with the Force Science Institute and their extensive and continuous science-based research.
The privilege of unfettered access to the world’s premier experts, the opportunity to learn from them and understand the impact of human performance factors experienced by officers is integral to the DGRichard Associates commitment to providing quality investigate services of use of force related incidents.
